For more than five decades, Joe Payne has invested his life in developing leaders, strengthening churches, and encouraging believers to pursue a deeper walk with Christ. His unique background combines successful business leadership, pastoral ministry, public speaking, worship leadership, and organizational coaching, giving him a perspective that is both practical and deeply biblical.

Raised in an entrepreneurial family in the mountains of West Virginia, Joe spent the first twenty years of his career in business management, building design, building supply, and sales leadership. Those years taught him how to lead people, solve problems, and build healthy organizations.

At the age of forty, God redirected his life into vocational ministry.

Joe served seven years as a Discipleship and Executive Pastor before becoming Senior Pastor, where he faithfully served for eighteen years. Throughout those twenty-five years of pastoral ministry, he led churches through seasons of growth, transition, and challenge while preaching, teaching, mentoring leaders, and developing disciples.

Since retiring from the pastorate in 2019, Joe has devoted himself to serving the broader church across North America. His passion is to encourage pastors, strengthen congregations, help churches navigate conflict, and call believers to biblical faithfulness in an increasingly confusing culture.

Music has also been woven throughout Joe's life. A musician for more than fifty years, he has performed in numerous musical settings and has spent decades leading worship and developing worship ministries. His passion has always been to help churches create worship that is both biblically grounded and Christ-centered.
